Get to know Lidewij! Zakenmeisje.nl published an interview with her, here are some words from this Q&A…
What is the best thing you have experienced so far as a freelancer?
“That has to be shooting in New York! For two weeks I was working with a creative team on a number of productions for editorial and commercial clients. Those magical moments dressing a model on Times Square or the Brooklyn Bridge with the Statue of Liberty in the distance I will never forget Oh, and seeing your name in a magazine .. crazy! That never gets old..”
What inspires you?
“Traveling is very inspiring for me. Discovering new places, other cultures and meeting new people makes you so much richer! I vividly remember doing a bike-tour through the busy streets, narrow alleys and tropical jungle of Bangkok. All the smells, the nature, beautiful temples, the people… fantastic!”
Which woman would you like to have brunch with?
“Hard to choose, there are many inspiring women! But for the life lessons (you have to have a lot of guts to be able to stand up against Anna Wintour) and styling advice: Grace Coddington.”
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
“In ten years’ time, I hope to have grown further with my company and to work on many different challenging productions for different clients. With hard work and dedication, and a bit of luck I hope to make many inspiring (work) trips. It also would be great to pass on my knowledge so maybe teaching world be nice.”
